Murray Free Range

We have been running our business since 1996, which consists of a very large commercial free range piggery situated in Strathmerton and have been using the services of Sargent’s Electrical for both our domestic and commercial side of our business since the beginning.  Our business requires the use of many electric motors, circuits, pumps, workshop and cool room equipment.  During that time work undertaken by Sargent’s Electrical has involved many aspects and levels of expertise and knowledge and has been of a very high quality.

Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration’s time management, response to emergencies, and care given is always professional, whether it is for repairs or breakdowns or for the installation of new works.

We have such a high regard for Sargent’s Electrical, that we engaged their services in both electrical and refrigeration work to undertake a complex project to refit out a large butcher/deli/café business that we purchased in Melbourne.

Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration also performed the electrical and refrigeration work for our new home built in 2014.  All electrical wiring, installation of Air Conditioning system; sound system & data points as well as featured, custom designed lighting were all completed to their usual excellent standard.

We will continue to use Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration for all our future electrical & refrigeration needs and would have no hesitation in recommending their company to anyone for both commercial and domestic needs.

Since buying my dairy farm in the Katunga area in 2004, I have been using the services of Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration.

I  have absolute confidence when I need  to contract the services of Sargents Electrical & Refrigeration.  They are very knowledgeable and take pride in their work.

Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration have been responsible for all electrical and refrigeration service, break down and repair work of our dairy; refrigerated milk vat; compressors; pumps and motors.

In 2016 we built a new 50 Unit Rotary Dairy.  Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration played a major role in the planning, design, installation and commissioning of the Dairy construction.  As well as undertaking all electrical, refrigeration & plumbing works involved for the new Dairy, Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration also:-

•    Upgraded the three phase power supply
•    Relocated the 15,000 Litre milk vat and refrigeration units
•    Wiring of new Switchboard
•    Wiring of new crusher and feed system
•    Wiring of effluent; backing gate & wash down pumps
•    Wiring of hot water service and timer
•    Wiring of Constant Pressure Pump system

I particularly like Peter and his staffs  pleasant, courteous and accommodating manner, always taking time to make sure that not only is the job completed to standards of excellence, but that I have been informed of what has been involved.

Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration have been a valued contractor to our dairy farm business for approximately the last twenty (20) years.

As sole supplier of milk to the Biodynamic Marketing Co. Ltd., it is imperative that the quality is of the highest standard.  We have only ever had excellent service from Peter and his employees, which has helped us maintain the highest quality in our milk that is an utmost requirement.

Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration have done all the work on several milk vat upgrades in recent years, major works such as laying underground power supply and total fit out of all electrical equipment on our new milking shed when upgraded in 2001, including quite an elaborate heat recovery and solar hot water system to ensure thorough cleaning of the milking equipment.

For us to maintain a successful business we must have quality and efficient service providers and we consider Sargent’s Electrical & Refrigeration to be excellent in these areas.  Any  issues are dealt with promptly and with a good understanding of what is needed to maintain milk quality.  Peter and his staff have always been cooperative and always display attention to detail.
